A verse that is often used by the Hebrew Israelites to prove that salvation is for nobody else but the Israelites is Joel 2-27 They claim that this verse demonstrates that God is the God of Israel and is the God of nobody else but the Israelites.
So let’s look at the verse.
Joel 2-27 And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed. KJV
So as we see the verse states that God is YOUR God and none else. And so it is this that they say shows God is the God of Israel and none else as in God is not the God of anyone else.
But a simple investigation into this verse shows their interpretation completely incorrect.
Here God is not stating that he is not the God of nobody else but rather that he is their God and there is no other God but him.
The Hebrew being וִידַעְתֶּ֗ם כִּ֣י בְקֶ֤רֶב יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ אָ֔נִי וַאֲנִ֛י יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶ֖ם וְאֵ֣ין עֹ֑וד
וְלֹא־יֵבֹ֥שׁוּ עַמִּ֖י לְעֹולָֽם׃ ס
If we look at other translations of this verse we see that they do in fact show this interpretation, that there is no other God, correct.
The Jewish JPS
Joel 2-27 And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, And that I am the LORD your God, and there is none else; And My people shall never be ashamed. JPS 1917
Brentons translation of the Septuagint
Joel 2-27 And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the Lord your God, and that there is none else beside me; and my people shall no more be ashamed for ever. Brentons septuagint
Even the old douay- Rheims
Joel 2-27 And you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel: and I am the Lord your God, and there is none besides: and my people shall not be confounded for ever. Douay-Rheims
And youngs literal translation
Joel 2-27 And ye have known that in the midst of Israel am I, And I am Jehovah your God, and there is none else, And not ashamed are My people to the age. Youngs literal.
So we see that the Hebrew translated as and none else is אַיִן ayin עוֹד od
The exact same Hebrew in used in Isaiah 45-5 אַיִן ayin עוֹד od . Here it is translated as and there is none else.
Isaiah 45-5 I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me: KJV
God very clearly saying that HE was the LORD (YHWH) and there is NONE ELSE, there is no God beside him.
The usage of this Hebre in no way indicates God is not the God of anyone else but rather that there is no other God but him HE is the God of Israel and there is no other God but him.
When we look at these same translations again they support this interpretation.

This exact same Hebrew is also found in
Isaiah 45-18 For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.
Isaiah 45-22 Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.
Isaiah 46- 9 Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,
All of these verses show that the true meaning is there is no other God.
When we understand the actual meaning we see very clearly that the Hebrew Israelites have either not understood Joel 2-27 correctly or they are deliberately trying to change its real meaning to support their claims.
